God makes things happen in our lives and he always makes sure we hear exactly what we need to hear at the right times. A few days ago I had a really impactful conversation with a man about Jesus. It's always amazes me how many people I meet that truly have hearts for Jesus and every time I get to have a heartfelt conversation about Jesus's love it fills me with such joy! If you pray about it God will open doors to allow you to share and speak about him with others.
The beautiful conversation I had with this man was about just how powerful the name of Jesus truly is speaking our saviors name and giving him glory is the most important part of our lives! Being a saved is so much more than going to church on Sunday, doing good deeds and saying you love Jesus! It’s about having a true close and personal relationship with Jesus and being willing to share that with others. The bible tells us that the only way we can get to heaven is through a relationship with Jesus.
"Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."-John 14:6
Since the bible tells us that we need to have a close relationship with Jesus and the only way to be truly saved is through him than why can it be so challenging to be bold about how we share our faith and easy to forget the importance of that relationship?
A few weeks ago at bible study the pastor asked us what the cost of a soul really is? The group of people answered saying that the cost of someone's soul is “priceless”! He went on to ask us if we loved others so deeply and valued ones soul so truly that we would be willing to give up our life for another. So if we truly believe that a soul is priceless than shouldn’t we do everything in our power to help others be saved and have a relationship with Jesus?
I believe the answer is Yes! Our souls are priceless and having the ability to know that you have the power to save someone and plant a seed of faith in them is such a humbling and amazing gift we are given. God gives us tools in our everyday life to grow closer in a personally relationship with Jesus and to reach out and be able to bless others. Having a relationship with Jesus is the most important relationship you will ever and can ever have.
Jesus is our savior. He loves us despite any brokenness that we may have. He died for us and by his love and grace we are saved. By knowing Jesus and developing a relationship with him we are able to be saved and have enteral life in heaven. Faith and the relationship with Jesus is so much more than just getting to heaven it's about the joy, love and amazing blessing of knowing Jesus.
The name of Jesus is the most powerful name. With the saying of his name alone has the power to cast out demons, save souls and bless others.
You have the ability to impact others and help save the soul of someone in the name of Jesus. In the way you live, love and act you can help save a soul.
There is no better day than the present to grow in your relationship with Jesus and there is no better time than to start improving your relationship.
We are all broken people but we are given the grace of God. Since we are broken we always have to strive to grow in our faith and be challenged to grow closer to Jesus with each and every single day we are blessed with. Today is a opportunity for you to reach out to others, invite them to church, share your faith, and be a light for Jesus in this world. Today and everyday you are given the ability to grow a deeper, stronger, and more powerful relationship with the one and only savior Jesus.
The name of Jesus is so so powerful and we are so blessed to have the ability to speak it.
